HASSELBACK BBQ TOFU

Ingredients

šŸŒ±1 block of firm tofuĀ 

šŸŒ±1/3 cup ketchupĀ 

šŸŒ±1 tbsp maple syrupĀ 

šŸŒ±1 tbsp apple cider vinegarĀ 

šŸŒ± 2 tsp soy sauceĀ 

šŸŒ±1 tbsp molassesĀ 

šŸŒ± 1 tbsp plant-powered Worcestershire sauce

šŸŒ±2 tsp liquid smokeĀ 

šŸŒ±1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)Ā 


MethodsĀ 

šŸŒ±Press tofu for 30 to 60 minutesĀ 

šŸŒ±Mix BBQ sauce ingredients together

šŸŒ±Slice block in half length waysĀ 

šŸŒ±Place a chopstick on either side of each tofu slice. This will prevent you from cutting all the way through. Then, make partial slices into the tofu, stopping when you reach the chopsticks

šŸŒ±Add BBQ sauce to tofu and marinate in the fridge for a minimum of 30 minutes

šŸŒ±Bake in a preheated oven at 375 F

šŸŒ±Serve with sides of choice and enjoy!Ā
