Welcome back to our High Protein Eco Recipe series where we empower you to make planet-positive food choices! 🌎


Whether you have cherries in the freezer or fresh this coming season, what better way to use them then to make our dessertlike Cherry Cheezecake Smoothie! 🍒


It packs a powerful punch with 14 grams of protein💪🏾 and is also highly nutritious, full of fiber, vitamins, and minerals. This plant-powered recipe is low in CO2e so you can make a positive impact on our planet! 🤩


*** Cherry Cheezecake Smoothie***


Ingredients:


🌱3 cups of frozen or fresh cherries

🌱1 package of silken/soft tofu

🌱½ lemon -juiced

🌱1.5 cups unsweetened soy milk

🌱4-6 dates (pits removed)

🌱½ cup oats

🌱1 med-large banana

🌱1/8 tsp iodized salt

🌱Optional add 1 tsp ground flax for bonus omegas


Directions:


🌱Add oats to a blender and dry blend until the consistency of flour. If adding flax or other seeds, add them here as well.

🌱 Add the remaining ingredients & blend

🌱If you desire a thinner smoothie, add more soy milk (we liked it at 2 cups!)
